TWO FEMALE CANDIDATES FOR PRESIDENTIAL ELECTION AGAINST PUTIN

Russian presidential election is expected to be held in March this year. President Vladimir Putin announced his candidature for the upcoming election. And many women candidates have stood against him. Two of them caught the attention of separately

The two women candidates announced for the election against Putin are Aina Gamjetova and Kesania Sobachak. Among them, Aina is the first Muslim woman to compete in presidential elections in Russian history. On the other hand, actresses, TV presenters and models of Kessenya are in the midst.

Al-Jazeera and Russian media reported that Aina Gamjetova is a successful journalist and head of Russia's largest Muslim media organization. On Monday, he submitted all the documents for his registration to the Central Election Committee. A local group named the Russian Republic of Dagestan has nominated him as the presidential candidate. Eina has stood in the election as an independent candidate. He is the wife of chief Mufti of Dagestan region. The 46-year-old woman managed several charitable organizations.

But as an independent candidate, Aina will have to collect nearly 300,000 signatures for the election because of the contest. There is no need to collect such a large number of signatures if the candidate of the political party represented in parliament. In that case, if no candidate is a member of the parliament, he has to collect one hundred thousand signatures.

There is no detailed information on the election program yet. Meanwhile, part of the Russian Muslim community supported the law. She has been able to make an eye on the international press too.

Earlier, the 35-year-old Ksenia Sobchak, who had announced the race for the Russian presidential election, had left him alone. He is known as 'Paris Hilton' in Russia. The BBC has reported that Ksenia has studied politics and international relations from the University of St. Petersburg. His father, Anatoly Sobacak, was the mayor of St. Petersburg.
