HERATH STRIKES EARLY, REMOVES MOMINUL FOR 176
Mominul Haque was out and failed to make double hundred in the third
over of the day as Bangladesh resumed their innings on the second day of the
first Test against Sri Lanka on Thursday.
Mominul flicked Rangana Herath to
Kusal Mendis at forward short leg, adding just one run to his overnight score
of 175 runs.
He faced 214 balls for his innings of
176, which included 16 fours and a six.
After that Mosaddek Hossain also out that's
the second wicket of the morning that's been gifted to Sri Lanka. This is
exactly what they needed. Two wickets in the first hour. It's angled in towards
him and grips and turns so doesn't really come on. Mosaddek comes down the
track and dares to go over the mid-on fielder and ends up chipping tamely to
him .
