HERATH STRIKES EARLY, REMOVES MOMINUL FOR 176

Mominul Haque was out and failed to make double hundred in the third over of the day as Bangladesh resumed their innings on the second day of the first Test against Sri Lanka on Thursday.

Mominul flicked Rangana Herath to Kusal Mendis at forward short leg, adding just one run to his overnight score of 175 runs.

He faced 214 balls for his innings of 176, which included 16 fours and a six.
